Half Year 2020 VAT Group AG Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and thank you for joining our webcast for Q2 and first half 2020 results. I'll start with an overview of the second quarter and first half highlights. And then Stephan, the CFO, will go into the results and a bit more of the financials. And then I'll conclude with a look ahead, and then we'll move into our usual Q&A.
So moving on to the next slide, you can see VAT reported a very solid top line increase in both the second quarter and the first half, thanks to the ongoing recovery in the semiconductor sector, which, of course, is our biggest market. In June, we also started seeing a recovery in our service business, which was impacted by the covered pandemic. Overall, I think we successfully mitigated the impacts of the pandemic.
