Good morning, everyone, in London and good evening to those of you joining our webcast from Australia, and welcome.
With our Capital Markets Day only a few weeks away, today's presentation will be a little shorter than usual and we'll focus on the positive progress of the combined business for the last 6 months. We will share a little bit more about the future opportunities and the strategic outlook on June 19 and I hope that many of you will be able to join us then.
Today, I'll briefly take you through the highlights of the first 6 months and Ian will then talk through the detail of the financial results. And then we will open up to Q&A on the financials at the end.
Okay. Having completed the Virgin Money acquisition in October, we're pleased with the strong progress we've made in our first 6 months as a combined business, and I'm optimistic about the opportunities we can see for the new business. I will, therefore, use the session today to comment on the 2 areas that are my primary focus: financial performance
