NASA's James Webb Telescope to be presented by Chief Mission Architect and manufacturing digitalization by VP of Industrial Machinery in each respective discussion.

Dr. Jonathan Arenberg, Chief Mission Architect for Science & Robotic Missions at Northrop Grumman Space, will present the keynote, "Sensors in Space: Learnings from Designing NASA's James Webb Telescope." With over 30 years of expertise leading major astronomical programs and development of optical, space and laser systems, Dr. Arenberg will share the significant role sensors played in developing the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), as well as stunning images captured by the telescope. The JWST was used by the University of Minnesota in 2023 in the discovery of a distant galaxy and the state continues to boast a rising involvement in aerospace research and manufacturing.
