Apple aims to release a new smart home device in the spring of 2025, combining the functionalities of an iPad, Apple TV, and HomePod. This innovative product, codenamed J490 and referred to as "HomeAccessory," may receive a different marketing name upon its launch.
The HomeAccessory will be equipped with an A18 chip, enabling it to support Apple's artificial intelligence features. The device will feature a square display and a built-in camera for video conferencing, gesture control, and user recognition.
Additionally, the HomeAccessory will be capable of running applications, playing media, serving as an AirPlay receiver, and displaying various clock faces on its lock screen.
