Hyundai Motor Company announced on Tuesday that it has surpassed the milestone of producing 100 million vehicles globally since its founding 57 years ago. The company held a commemorative ceremony at its Ulsan plant, located roughly 186 miles southeast of Seoul. This facility is where Hyundai first produced Korea's first mass-produced car, the "Pony," in 1975.
To celebrate this achievement, Hyundai delivered its 100 millionth vehicle, the Ioniq 5, directly to a customer. According to Hyundai Motor's General Manager, this milestone underscores the significant support from customers worldwide who have chosen Hyundai from the very beginning.
