Santos (STO) Signs LNG Supply Deal with Total for Asian Markets

Australian independent energy company Santos (STO, Financial) has signed a three-and-a-half-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply agreement with the Asian division of French energy giant Total. The agreement will take effect between October and December 2025.

Santos announced that the deal involves supplying 20 cargoes or approximately 500,000 tonnes of LNG annually from its entire portfolio. This marks the first LNG contract between Santos and Total, complementing recent agreements with Japan's Hokkaido Gas and trading giant Glencore.
