Germany Urges EU to Resolve EV Tariff Dispute with China Through Negotiations

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated the need for negotiations with China to address the European Union's plan to impose temporary anti-subsidy tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles. He emphasized that the EU's response should not be self-damaging and insisted on continuing talks with China regarding electric vehicles.
