Berkshire Hathaway Sells $337.9 Million in Bank of America Shares

Berkshire Hathaway, led by Warren Buffett (Trades, Portfolio), has disclosed in a regulatory filing that it recently sold $337.9 million worth of shares in Bank of America (BAC, Financial). The sales occurred over the past few days, with transactions taking place on September 30, October 1, and October 2. The shares were sold at prices ranging from $39.6141 to $39.4036 per share.

This marks the 13th round of Bank of America stock transactions disclosed by Berkshire Hathaway since mid-July. Despite these sales, Buffett has not provided a reason for reducing his holdings in the bank. Nevertheless, he remains its largest shareholder, retaining a 10.2% stake valued at over $31 billion.
