EHang (EH) Stock Rises Over 5% Following Successful eVTOL Flight in Brazil

Shares of EHang (EH, Financial) surged over 5% as the U.S. stock market opened, reflecting a 5.26% increase to $15.40 with a trading volume of $21.82 million. The boost follows the company's announcement of a milestone achievement: the EH216-S, an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, completed its first flight in Brazil.

The trial flight took place in the city of Quadra, São Paulo State, in collaboration with local partner and operator, Gohobby Future Technologies. This development is significant for advancing Urban Air Mobility (UAM) solutions in Brazil, a country renowned for its prominent aviation industry and being one of the largest eVTOL markets globally.
