British telecom giant Vodafone has announced an expanded partnership with Google, aiming to offer enhanced cloud services, generative AI tools, and cybersecurity solutions to its customers across Europe and Africa. This collaboration extends the existing partnership between the two companies for another ten years.

Vodafone will promote Google's cloud storage subscription services, including Google One AI Premium, which provides access to Google's Gemini chatbot. Additionally, Vodafone plans to demonstrate the AI capabilities of the latest Pixel devices to customers in their stores.

Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian mentioned that as AI becomes more integral to devices, the nature of these devices and user experiences will evolve significantly. Both Google and Vodafone are working to make it easy for customers to explore and decide on these advanced technologies.

Vodafone also intends to leverage Google's technology to enhance the search, recommendation, and ad-targeting features of its Vodafone TV box service. Moreover, the partnership will focus on developing a new cloud-based cybersecurity product for enterprise users.
