Volvo Car, majority-owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, is undergoing significant leadership changes as part of its strategy to tackle the growing challenges in the automotive market. The Swedish automaker aims to enhance business efficiency, agility, and collaboration while simplifying its commercial operations.

Key among these changes is the departure of Bjorn Annwall, the company's Deputy CEO and Chief Commercial Officer. Annwall will support the transition before leaving the company. His departure is part of a broader restructuring aimed at empowering employees closer to customers with more decision-making responsibilities.

In the new organizational structure, Arek Nowinski will serve as the President of the International Markets Business, overseeing operations in Europe, the U.S., Canada, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) region, Latin America, and global importers, along with volume planning and global offers.

Gretchen Saegh-Fleming, currently leading Volvo's global marketing team, will head the Customer Experience and Marketing division. Oscar Bertilsson Olsborg will assume the role of Global Head of Commercial Operations, while Erik Severinson, the Chief Product and Strategy Officer, will lead commercial strategy.
