Timothy Glenn to Retire; Judd O'Connor Appointed as Successor

On October 15, 2024, Corteva, Inc. (CTVA, Financial) announced a significant change in its executive leadership team. Timothy Glenn, the executive vice president of the seed business unit, has notified the company of his intention to retire, effective December 1, 2024. In his place, Judd O’Connor, who has been with the company for over 25 years, will assume the role.

Mr. Glenn will continue to serve as an advisor to the executive leadership team until February 2025 to ensure a smooth transition. Judd O’Connor, age 54, brings extensive experience in agriculture, having served as Corteva's commercial president for North America since July 2022. Prior to this, he was the seed commercial president for North America from August 2018.

Before Corteva's spin-off from DowDuPont, Inc., Mr. O’Connor held the position of vice president at DuPont Pioneer, where he played a crucial role in the integration activities following the merger of DuPont and The Dow Chemical Company. His career at Corteva includes various leadership roles within the Pioneer brand sales organization, including business director, vice president, and business president for DuPont Latin America. Mr. O’Connor holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Kansas State University.

The company has confirmed that there are no family relationships between Mr. O’Connor and any of the company's directors or executive officers, nor are there any transactions involving Mr. O’Connor that require disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.

This leadership transition marks a new chapter for Corteva, Inc. as it continues to strengthen its position in the agriculture industry. The company issued a news release on October 15, 2024, to announce Mr. Glenn’s retirement and Mr. O’Connor’s appointment.
