Shares of Daqo New Energy (DQ, Financial) surged over 9.6%, reaching $22.85. This increase follows news from the U.S. Commerce Department, which announced the initiation of a Changing Circumstances Review (CCR) related to the potential partial revocation of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on certain Chinese crystalline silicon photovoltaic (CSPV) cells. Specifically, the review targets small, low-wattage, off-grid CSPV products. The department has invited stakeholders to provide their input on the matter.
