Baker Hughes, a leading oilfield services company, has announced a substantial contract with Brazil's Petrobras. The agreement involves the provision of flexible pipeline systems tailored to withstand the high-concentration carbon dioxide corrosion prevalent in sub-salt oil fields.
The contracts, signed on October 15, 2024, encompass the delivery of pipelines stretching a total length of 77 kilometers. This development follows a series of agreements between Baker Hughes and Petrobras, including an additional contract for 69.1 kilometers of flexible pipeline systems and related services, finalized in the third quarter.
