Schneider Electric (SU) Appoints New CEO Amid Strategic Differences

Schneider Electric has announced that its board of directors has decided to terminate CEO Peter Herweck's position due to disagreements over the company's strategic roadmap. Herweck had been serving as CEO since May 2023.

Olivier Blum, the current head of Schneider's energy management division, will assume the role of CEO. This leadership change is aimed at aligning the company more closely with its strategic goals.
