Hello everyone. I am Jmi Arai from corporate Management Planning headquarters. I will now explain our financial results for the second quarter or the first half of fiscal 2024.
As President Kdo mentioned, we were able to post record high numbers for sales and profits at all levels.
I will go over the results by showing the comparison with the same period of the previous year.
Net sales increased by JPY5.7 billion to JPY497.4 billion. This includes a slight loss in foreign exchange and therefore we would have achieved a JPY6.1 billion growth. If we exclude this impact, the operating profit increased by 5.3 billion to JPY40.3 billion. And the operating profit ratio increased by 1% point to 8.1% in terms of non
