Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Announces Key Executive Changes

Leadership Transition at Newport News and Ingalls Shipbuilding

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. (HII, Financial) has announced significant leadership changes effective January 1, 2025. Kara R. Wilkinson has been elected by the Board of Directors to serve as Executive Vice President and President of Newport News Shipbuilding, succeeding Jennifer R. Boykin, who will retire from the position. Ms. Wilkinson is currently the Executive Vice President and President of Ingalls Shipbuilding.

In conjunction with her new role, Ms. Wilkinson's annual base salary will be increased from $545,000 to $625,000, effective January 1, 2025. Other aspects of her compensation will remain largely unchanged.
