Tesla (TSLA, Financial) has launched a leasing option for its electric pickup, the Cybertruck, starting at $999 per month. U.S. consumers can lease the all-wheel-drive version with a $7,500 down payment, and a three-year term with monthly payments is available. Alternatively, a two-year lease option requires no down payment, with a monthly fee around $1,600.

The leasing service for Cybertruck comes after Tesla addressed most of its order backlog. While Tesla states that the Cybertruck is its third best-selling model, specific quarterly delivery figures have not been disclosed. Despite production delays since its 2019 debut, these issues were resolved last year. However, this October, Tesla issued a recall for the Cybertruck due to a rear-view camera issue.
