Technology giants Nvidia (NVDA) and Meta (META) experienced gains, rising 1% and over 2% respectively. However, Tesla (TSLA), which had surged post-election, gave back some of its gains, dropping over 2%.
Shopify (SHOP, Financial) reported third-quarter revenues that exceeded expectations, propelling its stock to a new 52-week high with a dramatic rise of approximately 23%. Home Depot (HD) also reported better-than-expected earnings for the previous quarter and raised its full-year guidance, maintaining a stable stock performance.
In the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin approached $90,000 before declining, while cryptocurrency platform Coinbase (COIN) saw slight gains. Additionally, Microstrategy (MSTR), which has invested heavily in Bitcoin, jumped over 3%, reaching a new 52-week high.
