Canadian Solar (CSIQ) Gains on New 10-Year PPA with US Tech Giant

Canadian Solar (CSIQ, Financial) saw a pre-market increase of over 1%, reaching $12.51. The company announced that its subsidiary, Recurrent Energy, has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with a major U.S. technology firm. Under the agreement, Recurrent Energy will supply green energy from a photovoltaic project in Valladolid, Castilla y León, Spain. The project will have a total installed capacity of 300 megawatts and is expected to begin commercial operations in 2026.
