Novo Nordisk (NVO) to Invest $1.2 Billion in New Danish Facility

Novo Nordisk (NVO, Financial) shares rose over 2% to $139.1. The company announced an investment of 8.5 billion Danish kroner (approximately $1.2 billion) to build a large new facility in Denmark. This investment aims to meet the growing demand for its blockbuster drugs. Earlier this year, Novo Nordisk secured land and planning permissions for the facility in Odense. The company has outlined an 11-year phased expansion plan for the facility as part of the environmental report submitted during the permit process.
