On Tuesday, Chinese solar stocks experienced significant gains. Daqo New Energy (DQ, Financial) saw an increase of over 10%, JinkoSolar (JKS) rose by more than 3.7%, and Canadian Solar (CSIQ) climbed 0.94%.

The rise in these stocks comes amid reports that senior officials in the Biden administration are considering waiving tariffs on solar equipment imports from Mexico. Although no final decision has been made, such a move could potentially benefit a Chinese-owned solar company.
