French CAC 40 Index Closes Higher Amid Market Volatility

The French CAC 40 Index rose by 0.14%, closing at 7,282.69 points. An hour before the market closed, there was significant volatility. Among the component stocks, Eurofins Scientific led with a 1.85% increase. Renault and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield both saw gains of 1.77%, making them the second-best performers. STMicroelectronics (STM, Financial) climbed by 1.07%, ranking sixth in terms of growth. L'Oréal also performed well with a 0.53% rise. Conversely, Société Générale fell by 0.45%, ranking as the third-largest decliner, while Kering dropped 0.59% and Crédit Agricole decreased by 0.88%.
