Apple (AAPL, Financial) has reached an agreement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to include warning symbols inside the battery compartment and on the packaging of its AirTag tracking devices. This move aligns with the enactment of the Reese's Law, which came into effect last year and mandates that consumer products using button batteries carry warning labels. These labels must clearly indicate ingestion hazards and advise consumers to keep the batteries out of children's reach. As a result, Apple will now implement these warning symbols and statements on their AirTag packaging to comply with safety regulations.
