Apple (AAPL, Financial) has announced enhancements to its Fitness+ streaming service, introducing new features such as strength training, pickleball, yoga, and breathing meditation. A collaboration with Strava has also been unveiled. These updates will be available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV starting January 6. As part of the partnership, Strava users can access a special Fitness+ trial, with appearances by renowned athletes from the Strava community.
Jay Blahnik, Apple’s Vice President of Fitness Technologies, highlighted that Fitness+ aims to support everyone's unique fitness journey by providing engaging and motivational workouts and plans. Moreover, Fitness+ introduces training programs focusing on strength, endurance, and agility for pickleball, with coaching by world champion Catherine Parenteau.
The "Artist Spotlight" series returns, featuring workout playlists from global music stars including Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar, with releases starting January 13.
