NIU Technologies (NIU, Financial) has announced its sales results for the fourth quarter of 2024. The company reported total sales of 226,634 units, which include electric motorcycles, mopeds, bicycles, scooters, and e-bikes. Both the Chinese and international markets saw a 65% year-over-year increase, with sales figures of 182,333 and 44,301 units, respectively.
In the international market, sales of micro vehicles surged by more than 65% in the fourth quarter, contributing to a 57% increase for the entire year. In China, the launch of new models in 2024 and the fulfillment of backlogged orders from the third quarter, following the implementation of new safety standards, drove a 65% year-over-year sales increase in the fourth quarter.
Notably, new models such as the N-Play, NX, NT, FX, UMAX, U1e, MT, and OT accounted for over 70% of the fourth quarter's sales. For the full year of 2024, NIU's total sales reached 924,340 units, with 759,094 units sold in China and 165,246 units in international markets.
