At the recent CES event, NVIDIA's (NVDA, Financial) founder and CEO, Jensen Huang, shared his insights on the future of quantum computing. He expressed that while quantum computers hold significant potential, the development of truly useful quantum machines might still be decades away.
Huang indicated skepticism about achieving highly effective quantum computing capabilities within 15 years, suggesting that such a timeline might be overly optimistic. Conversely, he implied that a 30-year horizon might be too conservative. A 20-year estimate, however, seems more plausible to many in the industry, according to Huang.
