Quantum Computing Stocks Plummet Following NVIDIA CEO's Remarks

Quantum computing stocks experienced a significant decline. Quantum Computing (QUBT, Financial) fell over 34%, Rigetti Computing (RGTI) dropped 30%, Quantum (QMCO) decreased over 26%, and WiMi Hologram Cloud (WIMI) saw a decline of more than 22%.

The downturn was influenced by comments from NVIDIA (NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang. He indicated that a "very useful" quantum computer might still be decades away. Huang suggested that predicting the development of such a computer within 15 years might be premature, while a 30-year timeline could be too late. He believes a 20-year timeline is more plausible, which many in the industry might find credible.
