Super Micro Computer (SMCI, Financials) announced the volume shipment of its X14 systems, which combine Nvidia (NVDA, Financials) GPUs with Intel Xeon 6900 series processors. Offering up to 128 performance cores per CPU, support for the newest generation of Nvidia SXM and PCIe GPUs, and superior heat management, these servers are geared for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and edge applications.

The X14 systems, the firm said, are intended for demanding uses like artificial intelligence model training, generative artificial intelligence, collaborative design, and HPC. Supported by liquid cooling and PCIe setups for optimal performance, the servers use Nvidia GPUs to give improved computational capability.

Emphasizing the systems' low latency, high throughput, and capacity to scale for corporate and data center installations, Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro, Furthermore positioning Supermicro as a pioneer in high-performance computing is the integration of Nvidia's GPU technology with Supermicro's Server Building Block Solutions.

GPU-optimized servers, rackmount systems, and high-density multi-node configurations fit for certain workloads make up the X14 series. The systems provide sophisticated storage choices, versatile I/O, and up to 400GbE networking capability.

Supermicro said that its manufacturing facilities could provide up to 5,000 racks per month, including 2,000 liquid-cooled racks, therefore guaranteeing quick customer deployment. The JumpStart initiative of the firm allows the systems to be tested and validated right now.

Based in San Jose, California, Supermicro focuses on IT solutions for artificial intelligence, storage, cloud, and edge applications. Its working with Nvidia emphasizes its dedication to provide innovative computing solutions with little environmental effect.
