Chip Stocks Decline as Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Falls Over 2.3%

The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index experienced a significant decline, dropping more than 2.3%. This downturn affected a broad range of chip stocks.

NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) saw a decrease of over 3%, while Navitas Semiconductor (NVTS) also fell more than 3%. Wolfspeed (WOLF) faced a substantial drop of over 8%, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) declined by more than 5.3%.

ON Semiconductor (ON) experienced a decrease of over 4.7%, and GlobalFoundries (GFS) saw a decline of more than 2.5%. Cirrus Logic (CRUS) dropped by over 1.7%, while STMicroelectronics ADR (STM) fell by more than 1.9%.
