Chinese Yuan Shows Strong Performance Against USD in September

On September 30, the onshore Chinese Yuan (CNY, Financial) closed at 7.0156 against the US Dollar (USD) at 16:30 Beijing time, marking a 4-basis-point increase from the previous trading day. Over the month, the Yuan gained 725 basis points.

Additionally, the Yuan's central parity rate stood at 7.0074, up by 27 basis points. The previous day's central parity rate was 7.0101, and the onshore Yuan's closing rate was 7.0160 at 16:30 Beijing time, finishing at 7.0111 in the night session. The central parity rate of the Yuan gained a total of 1050 basis points throughout the month.
