XPEV Rises as New AI Car Launch Approaches

On Wednesday, most electric vehicle stocks experienced declines. However, XPeng (XPEV, Financial) rose over 1.4%, and Rivian Automotive (RIVN) saw an increase of over 3%. On the contrary, NIO (NIO) fell more than 2.4%, Li Auto (LI) dropped over 4.7%, and Tesla (TSLA) saw a slight decline.

In related news, XPeng has scheduled the debut of its new P7+ model for October 10. This vehicle is touted as the world's first AI car and is positioned as a 300,000 yuan-class SUV coupe. According to XPeng, the car will feature HiFi high-fidelity sound systems supporting panoramic surround sound, and will include starry waterfall ambient lighting with perforated design and multiple light strips covering the interior.
