- AppFolio (APPF, Financial) and Second Nature announce a strategic partnership to enhance resident experiences.
- The partnership integrates Second Nature's services into AppFolio Stackā¢, addressing a key market opportunity.
- Upcoming AppFolio 2025 report highlights a significant gap in resident benefit availability.
AppFolio (APPF), a leader in real estate technology, has teamed up with Second Nature to enhance the resident experience across millions of serviced properties. Through this strategic partnership, AppFolio customers can now offer Second Nature's suite of services via the AppFolio Stack⢠partner ecosystem. These services include credit building, air filter delivery, pest control, rewards programs, and Group Rate Internet, designed to meet modern resident expectations.
The partnership is timely, given the findings from the upcoming AppFolio 2025 Renter Preferences Report. The report reveals that 71% of renters prioritize resident benefits when choosing rentals, yet only 42% currently have access to such perks. This data points to a substantial opportunity for property managers to differentiate themselves by meeting these resident demands.
This collaboration complements AppFolioās existing offerings, such as FolioSpaceā¢, which facilitates interactions between residents and property managers, and Realm-X, which automates routine communications. The partnership also follows AppFolio's recent strategic alignment with Zillow to streamline leasing processes.
āOur mission is to design, onboard, and power 'Triple Win Experiences' where residents win, investors win, and property managers win together. AppFolio and Second Nature coming together to integrate our offerings is a big step in replacing friction with effortless, exceptional experiences for all,ā said Thad Tarkington, Founder and CEO at Second Nature.
By integrating these new services, AppFolio not only enhances its platform but also provides property managers with the tools needed to improve resident satisfaction and retention. This integration aims to address operational challenges while creating added value for property managers in a competitive market landscape.
