UniFirst Corporation (UNF, Financial) has announced the return of the UniFirst No. 9 Chevrolet to Michigan International Speedway on June 8, 2025. Driven by 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott, the car features a vibrant new design with green and gray tones and racing stripes. The race, starting at 2 PM ET and available on Prime Video, is one of five appearances scheduled for the UniFirst No. 9 during the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season.
Chase Elliott, known for his strong performance at Michigan's 2-mile oval, has achieved 10 top-10 finishes out of 14 starts. Elliott expressed enthusiasm about racing with the fresh UniFirst design, aiming for a victory following last year’s performance where he led several laps at the track.
This significant event also marks a milestone in the partnership between UniFirst and Hendrick Motorsports, celebrating 10 years of collaboration. This year is the sixth season that UniFirst has sponsored Chase Elliott and the No. 9 team. The UniFirst No. 9 Chevrolet will also be seen in upcoming races at Richmond Raceway on August 16 and Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on October 5.
