H World Group Limited (HTHT, Financial) has released its 2024 Sustainability Report, underscoring its commitment to sustainable growth and innovation. The hospitality group, known for its brands including HanTing Hotel and JI Hotel, demonstrated significant strides in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices over the past year.

One of the standout achievements of the report is the Green Living program, which saved over 24,000 tons of water and prevented 676 tons of carbon emissions by encouraging guests in China to reduce towel replacements. This initiative also contributed to the conservation of 680 MWh of electricity and reducing 7.88 million pieces of towel laundry.

The company showed a strong commitment to gender diversity, with women comprising 62.4% of its workforce and 59.6% of hotel general managers within its China operations. At the board level, female directors account for 42.9% of H World's leadership.

To bolster educational and industry advancement, H World partnered with over 130 universities, creating more than 2,600 internship positions annually. This collaboration earned the group recognition from China's Ministry of Education for exceptional industry-academia cooperation.

In governance, H World conducted 972 supplier audits, covering 699 suppliers, and achieved a 98% audit coverage rate for strategic suppliers. This highlights its dedication to maintaining high standards in product and service quality.

The company's social initiatives included significant contributions during the Guilin floods, providing shelter and resources to affected residents, and supporting rural development through its "Hotel + Rural Economy" model, procuring 30,000 kg of tea annually from Zhenghe County and advancing eco-farm projects.
