- Meridian Mining (MRRDF, Financial) reports significant high-grade mineralization at Santa Helena, including its highest-grade gold intersection.
- Drilling results include 25.4g/t Au and 449.0g/t Ag in hole CD-701, along with multiple other high-grade intersections.
- Exploration extends to Santa Fé, promising further discoveries with geochemical and IP anomalies.
Meridian Mining (MRRDF) has announced impressive findings from its ongoing drilling program at the Santa Helena project. The latest results highlight multiple intersections of shallow, high-grade mineralization comprising gold (Au), copper (Cu), silver (Ag), and zinc (Zn). Notably, hole CD-701 delivered the highest-grade bedrock gold intersection to date with 25.4g/t Au and 449.0g/t Ag, reinforcing the site's potential.
Significant results also include hole CD-660, showcasing 11.6m at 5.9g/t AuEq from 42.0m, and hole CD-700, with 17.6m at 3.6g/t AuEq from 4.6m. The ongoing infill drill program aims to enhance the understanding of mineralization geometry and boost confidence in preparation for a resource estimate expected later this year.
In addition to Santa Helena, Meridian is expanding exploration to the nearby Santa Fé, located 5km to the south. This area has shown promising results with expanding geochemical and IP anomalies. The company has mobilized a rig for shallow reconnaissance drilling to further explore these potential mineralization zones.
