Senmiao Technology Limited (AIHS), a firm specializing in the finance and servicing sector of China's online ride-hailing industry, has announced a strategic partnership with Changsha Yipeng Information Technology Co., Ltd. This collaboration focuses on devising an AI-powered data management system designed to boost efficiency and safety within online ride-hailing operations.

Changsha Yipeng, known for its over ten years of experience in AI-based information systems, will leverage Senmiao's historical data on drivers, vehicles, and riders to develop this innovative platform. The strategic move comes in the wake of Senmiao's recent sale of its online ride-hailing platform, marking a shift toward monetizing its extensive operational datasets.

The newly formed alliance represents a significant strategic pivot for Senmiao (AIHS, Financial), aimed at creating a novel revenue stream post-divestment of its core business platform. In addition to seeking improved operational efficiencies, the companies plan to jointly attract the necessary investment to fund the system's full development and rollout.

Xi Wen, Chairman and CEO of Senmiao, expressed optimism about the partnership, noting it as an opportunity to harness accumulated data for long-term revenue generation. By capitalizing on Changsha Yipeng's robust expertise in AI systems, Senmiao aims to set new standards in data-driven management solutions for the ride-hailing sector.
