Pearson (PSO), the global lifelong learning company, has announced its plan to acquire eDynamic Learning, a leader in Career and Technical Education (CTE) curriculum solutions. This strategic acquisition aims to boost Pearson's presence in the fast-growing Early Careers sector and expand its career-readiness capabilities.

eDynamic Learning currently serves over 885,000 K-12 students across more than 9,000 educational institutions. The company offers a comprehensive suite of 325 digital courses spanning over 40 career pathways, providing educational resources, virtual career simulations, workforce training, and virtual teaching services.

The acquisition is designed to address the increasing demand for career-ready workers in the ever-evolving AI-driven economy. Pearson plans to finance the acquisition using its existing cash resources, reflecting the company's strong financial position. The deal is anticipated to close in the second half of 2025, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.

Commenting on the partnership, Omar Abbosh, CEO of Pearson, underscored the importance of bridging the skills gap in today's labor market. He stated, "At a moment when technology is developing faster than human skills, we see an urgent need for career-ready workers. The integration of eDynamic Learning will enhance Pearson's ability to support early career learners entering the workforce."

Jerry Wooden, CEO of eDynamic Learning, expressed excitement about joining Pearson, a brand with established relationships across educational and enterprise networks. He noted the opportunity to reach more learners and enhance their offerings through this collaboration.
