Fossil Group, Inc. (FOSL) has announced the appointment of Laks Lakshmanan as its new Chief Supply Chain Officer, commencing on June 16, 2025. With a robust background in supply chain management spanning over two decades, Lakshmanan is set to lead the company’s global end-to-end supply chain operations, which include manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, and logistics for all the company's brands and regions.
Lakshmanan previously served as Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, where he had already collaborated with Fossil as the interim Head of Supply Chain over the last two years. During this interim role, he played a crucial part in revamping Fossil's distribution strategy and enhancing the company's manufacturing responsiveness and cost efficiency.
In his new role, Lakshmanan will also oversee the Global Business Services operations based in Bengaluru, India. His extensive experience with Fortune 500 companies, specifically in network design, integrated planning, cost transformation, and operational excellence, positions him well for this critical leadership role at Fossil Group.
The appointment underscores Fossil Group's commitment to driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
