Good to be here. Presented by Steve Valenzuela, the Chief Financial Officer. Steve, may be you can do a quick introduction to the company.
Sure. First of all it's great to be here, thanks, Nikolai. So Alarm.com was founded in 2000, really with the idea of taking the legacy security systems and really bringing them into a new technology, new interactive capability, and actually back in 2000 that was even before the iPhone was around. So the first innovation was really about converting it from land-line based to cellular-based, and then over the years we've made many, many different innovations. We actually worked very hard initially on a DIY model, which didn't work. Then right around 2008, we actually realized that there were all these dealers out there who were selling legacy security systems, who actually were a good channel for us.
