Amcor PLC at Citi Basic Materials Conference Transcript
Very pleased to have with us Ron Delia, CEO of Amcor. Amcor is a leading global producer of flexible and rigid plastic packaging. The company completed the acquisition of Bemis earlier this year and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Ron was appointed CEO. And prior to that, served as CFO and has had a variety of leadership positions throughout the company. So Ron, maybe we could just kind of kick it off with an introduction to Amcor and the Bemis transaction, and then we can go into Q&A.
Sure. Okay. Okay. I mean, I won't assume any sort of level of knowledge in Amcor, so I'll just start at the very beginning, and I'll keep it brief. The company has been around for 160 years. It started in Australia as a forest products and paper company basically, and over the last few decades, has completely evolved to a global company. We only have a couple -- 2% of sales in Australia
