Full Year 2021 AMP Ltd Earnings Call Transcript
Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to AMP's financial results for 2021. Let me start by paying my respects to our First Australians. I'd like to acknowledge the traditional custodians on the land on which we meet today. For me, that is the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. And I'd like to pay my respects to all custodians of the land's past, present and emerging.
I'm disappointed that we are again holding this event virtually in the financial year and to highlight the achievements in what has been a very unusual period. I'm joined today by our CFO, James Georgeson, and CEO of the AMP Capital Private Markets business, Shawn Johnson, who you'll hear from shortly.
In November, at our Investor Day, we outlined our strategy for the AMP Limited and Private Markets business in a separated environment. Today, we'll share how the businesses had performed in '21 and give further directions to the outlooks for '22.
Before turning to the results, it would be remiss of me not to comment on the environment in which we're operating.
