Hello, everybody. Thank you for joining me today. My name is John Thero. I'm President and CEO of Amarin. As we go through this presentation, I hope you will get a sense for we are changing paradigms in preventative cardiovascular care.

As an overview, cardiovascular disease probably doesn't get as much attention as it deserves. I think some of that's because there hasn't been a whole lot of innovation. It's difficult. But it is an enormous and growing health burden, really the most expensive area in health care and the cause of the most deaths, more than all cancers combined.
