Let me just start it off. I'm Bill Oplinger from Alcoa. Thanks for being here today. I just wanted to take a few minutes to tell you a little bit about Alcoa, then we'll take some questions and answers. Hopefully, you know Alcoa Corp. We were launched in 2016. We're globally vertically -- a global vertically integrated aluminum company. We have about 40 operating locations around 10 countries. We're on every continent except for Antarctica. We have 14,000 employees in 15 different countries.
We are an industry leader in all aspects of the upstream aluminum value chain. And when we launched, we launched with 2 sets of guiding principles. We've got our values -- we've got 3 values that are very simple to remember, that guide everything we do. We act with integrity, we operate with excellence and we care for people. And then we have our 3 strategic priorities. Those strategic priorities have not changed since we became an independent company. Those 3 strategic priorities are to reduce complexity and cost, drive returns from investments
