Codan Ltd Annual Shareholders Meeting Transcript
Well, good morning, ladies and gentlemen. It's -- we'll just wait for that plane to go over. It's now 11 a.m. My name is David Simmons, and I'm your company's Chairman. Before I start my address, I do have a couple of apologies today. Peter Griffiths, long-term Board Member of Codan rang me yesterday and said he liked to be here, but he's had some minor surgery on his ankles, which he -- maybe he can't get onto his feet, so he sends his apologies. I also have an apology from Donald McGurk, but I'm pleased that Sally is here, and it's much better to have Sally than Donald. So welcome, Sally. I do have some sad news this morning. Ian Wall passed away this morning at 9 a.m. Ian, of course, is -- was the remaining co-founder of the Codan business, served on the Codan Board for many years, over 40 years, I believe. A fantastic supporter of Codan both -- whilst an executive and a director and very supportive of many people who are around here at Codan today.
