Half Year 2019 Avon Rubber PLC Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Paul McDonald, Chief Executive Officer for Avon Rubber, and welcome to all of you in the room and those listening on the webcast to our 2019 half year results presentation.
For our presentation this morning, I will start with the key highlights. Nick Keveth, our CFO, will present the financial review and the FY '19 outlook, whilst I'll close by summarizing the recent contract awards and the key takeaway messages from today's results.
The last 6 months have been a period of significant transformation for the group, and I'm delighted to be able to talk to you today about the continuing delivery of our growth strategy, which has transformed the outlook for the business, enhanced the medium-term visibility, and I'm delighted to say a stronger business has emerged. There have been a number of significant successes for the first 6 months of the year. We've secured $340 million of key long-term contracts that collectively underpins our mid-term outlook.
