Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the BCE Annual General Meeting.
I would now like to turn the meeting over to Mr. Gordon Nixon. Please go ahead, sir. (foreign language) I'd like to give the floor to Mr. Gordon Nixon. You have the floor, Mr. Nixon.
(foreign language) Good morning, and welcome to the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of BCE. My name is Gordon Nixon, and I'm pleased to preside over this meeting as Chair of the BCE Board of Directors, and I will now call the meeting to order.
I would like to begin today's event by acknowledging that the land that I am on is a traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples and now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
