2019 Annual Shareholders' Meeting of Becton, Dickinson and Company is called to order. I am Vincent Forlenza, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BD, and I'm pleased to welcome you on behalf of our directors and officers. To my right, I would like to introduce Gary DeFazio, BD's Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary; and Alisa Zagare and Donna Bent of Computershare Trust Company, our Inspector of Election.
Next, I would like to introduce the other members of the Board of Directors who are standing for election at this meeting. Biographical information for each director appears in our proxy statement.
