Welcome to the 2022 Annual Stockholders' Meeting of Beam Therapeutics. I will now turn the call over to John Evans, Chief Executive Officer of Beam.
Thank you, and thanks for joining us today. My name is John Evans, and I'm the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Beam Therapeutics. Beam Therapeutics is a biotechnology company developing precision genetic medicines through a new form of gene editing called base editing. I'm pleased to welcome you to our 2022 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
We are excited to be hosting our virtual meeting live via webcast, which allows us to be more inclusive and reach a greater number of our stockholders.
