Full Year 2020 Bellway PLC Earnings Call Transcript
Good morning, and welcome to Bellway's full year results. My intention today is, firstly, to provide an overview of the business. Keith will then take you through our results and our balance sheet, and I will close with some details on operational matters, together with an update on current trading.
Needless to say, it has been a rather unusual and challenging period since we announced our interims back in March of this year. And it's probably fair to say that the housing sector has fared much better than first feared, in part due to the success of the stamp duty changes and in part due to that pent-up demand generated from lockdown.
Operationally, I'm pleased to report that all of our construction sites are now open and continue to operate within COVID safe guidelines. Our sales offices are also open and limited to appointments only. And reassuringly, this has not led to any dampening in demand.
